The Reason to have a strong Constable
is very clear.
Our Court System relies on the constable office to run smoothly. It is the Constable and his appointed deputies that locate people and have them appear in court. This is one of the many duties and process serving being very important that the constable office is responsible for.
Our Local police force like other's around the country see the serving of papers as a time consuming task that takes up valuable time and resources. They do not want or need the extra burden of having to locate people to have them served. With out a strong person that can hire, train and run an office, the court system's around the country can not operate efficently and serve the public.
The constable position is a fee base position not costing the tax payer of Fayette County.
